suggestions for keeping the hatch on tight.

    hey guys,

i was running my blackjack last week doing some speed runs with my new gps toy and of course during my last run i wiped it out and the hatch blew off and i ended up sinking my boat.
luckily the gps was still working and it recorded my speed at 49.8 mph.

i recovered my boat, dried all the electronics out and thankfully everything is still working.

ive noticed those magnets that are supposed to hold the hatch to the hull dont do a very good job of securing it ,especially when you wipe out at high speed.

any suggestions as to how i can modify the hatch to keep it from coming off? and where is the best place to pick up the parts for modifying the hatch?

any suggestions to keeping the hatch secured would be appeciated.

re keeping the hatch on tight.

believe it or not i had put hatch tape on my boat before i ran it and it still blew off like nothing.

im going to install some metal screws with nuts nd then it should prevent anymore hatch launchings at high speed.

thanks for all the suggestions guys.

then perhaps you should look into finding a better method for securing the batt packs, since it sounds like one or both packs bounced off the hatch.
