    Motor And Esc Upgrade

I decide to upgrage my boat, motor and esc without spending a lot of money.
Has anyone tried AMMO 2300 with the X-POWER 100 amp ESC?
Is this combo worth it in order to see speeds close to 50mph?
Does the stock motor mount fits ok with the AMMO 2300? (including water jacket)
    Any other suggestions?(motor+esc)
I have a pair of these batteries, octura x642 and also i have made some mods...
    Thanks in advance

      hi all
was just gonna post the same kinda thread but I'll tag on here well think my stock ESC is so iam looking into a power upgrade and think i have made my decision on an ESC looking like the Etti 100amp race proven

ETTI ETTI have released a new race controller. The controller is nominally 100 amps rated but is billed as being more capable than the existing 125 controllers. It is - like the rest of the family, water cooled and waterproof. The new controller will run 100 amps continuous and take 150 amp peak for 10 seconds. .

      see http://www.astecmodels.co.uk/

now for a motor that you can just drop in to the BJ26 ?? iam unsure of what to look for in regards of poles amps etc etc some suggest the ammo but which one and some say the feigao but again which one ?? and can you use the stock water cooler or do you need a new 1 for these motors ?? as per i want to increase speed so your help is needed please list your choices

      thanks maxamus

The stock speed control will work w/ the AMMO 2300. We ran it in an SV first one then in a Hydro, both the BJ speedo works fine.

Hey xkos - I run that set up in my sv27 - gps 45-47mph - the boat is rock sold at full throttle I think is a good set up anyway - The only thing is that the 100a xpower is cutting out occasionally but only for 10-15secs

ETTI ESCs are great but Castle obviously is a top performer. Steve will help with any Castle issues.

just some comments from another forum regarding Etti esc's
sounds good bang for buck for the price as a cheaper option

I have 4 ETTI esc's and they work flawlessly.

These are fully adjustable , LIPO ready up to 6S , temp cut off , you name it has it.

The best thing is : they are 100% waterproof !!
I had a boat on the bottom of a lake for a whole week until divers found it. I dried everything out and it still WORKS !!

Up to now , I have 7 ETTI esc's in use for about a year now. They are all working very good after being used for a whole year in full competition FE boats. They have all been 100% submerged in water and just keep going
