Hex....don't expect that much diff. Not sure what it weighs. But not that much. Your boat will run better by trimming it so it handles and gets top end. You do this with strut depth, angle and CG.
They are absolutly hillarious. This is one of the best reads I have had on forums in a while, and that includes the cat and greased string bit. ( go have look for that one )
GEEZ I havent really looked at this one since I posted. WOW. You nailed it Simon. I cant get the tears outta my eyes from laughing. Then you had to go pointing out the other thread.... OH DEAR!
Some of this thread is obviously BS but any real FE racer that has any clue of FE rc boats do not run radio boxes. Of course...we also do not run box art boats either, we build ours for top performance from the ground up.
Most seasoned FE folks know that the box art hull designs and capabilities are pretty crappy. Of course, you get what you pay for. They are decnt for people that really do not know how to build and want an almost fast boat they can take out of the box and throw cells in and go.
True...and I hope I did not insult anyone by my comments above. It was only meant to say to not expect a lot from their boats but they ARE doing some neat things and getting some great speeds.
Many times it is more impressive to see people get box art boats flying and more of a challenge than getting good hulls to run well. So I am now interested in what can be done with these smaller hulls.
