Please help me select a motor

I am calling all OSE addicts. Please help me if you can. I have selected a motor and esc combo but I need you help so I only order once. My goal is a solid 40-45mph. Here is what I have selected.

    CC Hydra120 or x power100a

feigao 7XL with a water jacket

    polyrc px2s-3300 20c\30c x2

    Grimracer 42x55 metal prop

What do you think? Will that batteries work? Which ESC?

    Thank you in advance.

One more question. Will the 7xl motor work with the existing stock BJ coupler?

      I would run the 8xl with a hydra 120.
The stock coupler is also 5mm, the same as the feigao.

The batteries you have listed are rated at 66 amps. You should not discharge lipo batteries at more than 80% of their rating. The 7XL motor is rated at 93 amps for maximum effeciency.

I would drop back to a 9XL (74 amps rating) motor and get some batteries that will handle atleast 100 amps at 4S. The 9Xl's max effeciency rating is 74 amps.

The 8XL (83 amps rating) would be a good choice too, but would need a higher battery amp rating of around 120 amps.

The 120 hydra would be a good choice for both.

Just get the hydra 120, strut and off set rudder, octura x642, do a little be of work on the prop, and you will have the speeds you want with the stock motor. I was able to break 44 mph with the stock motor and nimh batteries.
