    Backjack 26 Brushless Steering

Has anyone made any improvement over the poor steering the Blackjack 26 has.

Has anyone tried the Twisted Liquid Racing Breakaway "Skater" Inline Rudder System?

What about the Fuller system? If this is the way to go what would be the parts numbers I would need to make this change.

Maybe it's the nature of catamaran's and I will just have to live with it.

Any help in this area would be helpful.

    Thanks

I used 2 small metal plates to hold the strut straight. One on either side bolted between the bottom strut bolt and the water pick up bolt.
Then got a cheap rudder, bolted it to the back on the RHS, and made a longer steering rod to reach properly. Works an absolute jem and only cost me about $20

well, technically the handling characteristics of a cat are it should turn/corner very well. With the proboat in stock form I have read...not so much, try the BJ26 thread on this forum there is a boon of info to be had on upgrading an getting better performance all around! A certain member I know of has attained 50mph an a little more with this hull so its possible to get your set right.
