Ok I finally Did it.

I finally broke down and bought a set of lipos. I am going to buy the 7xl from Avanti that he bought from SJFE. Any quesses on what speed the BJ will run, IF I can keep it right side up?

Now I just have to decide on a charger and balancer.

The lipos are 2s1p 5000 mah by Neu.

lol no not yet. I am not sure if the boat will stay together long enough for me to get there. There are so many cracks in the hull is pretty sad.

It will a couple of more weeks before I am ready to hit the water with the lipos. However, I will probably try the 7xl since it will be a quick easy install.

Cool, Keep us informed....my hull is filled with Ca glue and Epoxy....they( BJ and SV) crack easy...

Yeah my hull is pretty pissed, but it should last a bit longer.


Has anyone tried the Triton Jr. charger? What about the Triton 2 or ICE?

I have been told the Hyperion chargers are about the best, but I am interested in some of these other charges that are a bit cheaper.

We have a Ripmax Prodigy II Charger (1-14nimhs or 1-5 lipo) and a ThunderPower 1010(1 to 10s) charger along with a thunderpower 210 balancer, they work great

the junior doesn't have all the options and capacity that the triton 2 has. and the difference with the triton and trinton 2 is a blue backlight and more cell capacity on the 2

I ran my SV outboard today, with a 5s and a 637 fiegao 2731 9l my cousin Jolly his 64 mile an hour record I believe is gone hopefully If we recover our GPS, WHILE my other cousin WAS suppose tobe taping as I back off she chimmed into a flip and went under I lost an esc I just got today, and the GPS( were still looking for it But this boat was trimmed like a fresh barbers cut, I ran like a rock-it My cousin is reconfiguring his jolly now...So right now I'm ordering another ESC and I need some spare gears from steve these are still good but just in case, the hull has a few horizontal cracks in the coating, but it was worth it.....the BJ is on the Back burner for now.....Look... out of my cousins mouth he regretfully conceded.......

I was planning on buying lipos before my business got robbed, so now they are on the back burner and I am considering selling the 7xl to obrien. I would like to atleast break 50 with this pig.
