    GPS top speed report on stock running gear!

    GPS SPEED REPORT

    Here you go guys;

    Stock running gear (outdrive)
    Stock prop

    Blueprinted/sanded bottom
    removed battery trays

    4900mah lipos

    Severe chop, the river was terrible, the rowing team was out kicking up wake and made it almost impossible to run wide open for very long.

    37.2mph

    Not too bad for stock prop and electronics, huh?

      I could take a pic of the GPS screen with the highest top speed recorded? LOL

      Honestly, It was one of those "its drizzling and I need to get my boat fix" sort of runs.
      This weekend, I will video the run and show the GPS.

          37.2 stock is most impressive!! Im planning on bringing mine to sundays club fun run. With a little luck, might get to tangle with a few SuperFlips on the 1/8 mile course!

                      Depending on how lumpy the water was and how the boat was trimmed, 1/2" waves can cut 1-3 mph off a top speed with that kind of boat. Small cats are fastest on very smooth water to water with just a slight ripple.

                            well I gps mine with 14 cell, intellect 3600 stock motor,esc and a 645...I got 43.3mph..Then my cousin crashed his SV his top was 47.7..with nimhs and an ammo 2600kv...Being that my esc was shutting down, we swapped esc's and with 2- 7.4 cell lipo's i got 51mph(less weight and more punch freed her up an the ammo 2600), then my futaba glitch and at 45 plus she slammed into a concrete drainage in the retaining lake every thing came through the hull( gps, batteries) but it was refreshing, i felt good...ordered a new bj26 bl hull....
