    battery pack

Well I got my swordfish 120 and the battery pack for the rx, but the plug on the pack does'ent fit the reciever, is there anything can do short of tossing it in the spare parts bin.
    stock proboat servo and reciever.
I'm told not to run the bec with 6s, is it ok when running with 5s with the swordfish?

If Im understanding correctly, why not change the plug? Are the pins different as well? It could be as easy as slipping out the pins and clicking them into the correct plug.

Are you saying remove the pins or sockets from the housing and insert them directly into the plug on the reciever, I'm sure that would work or are you saying get the housing of the right size, if so where do I get the smaller housing, radio shack ? because I thought I saw battery packs there also.
      thanks for your input.

Take the BEC plastic housing off the 45 amp esc ( little black plug) Take a razor blade and lift the tabs remove the pins. Take your RX pack and do the same removing the little black housing replacing it with the one off the 45amp esc. Just make sure you keep the wires polarity correct. Accidently switching the red and black wires can do alot of damage! That should fix your plug problem. If more help is needed ill try to post some pics, but my camera sucks!

I was saying remove and re-install into the correct plug.

Whan I got home I took another look at the plug on the battery pack and noticed that it was bigger due to the platic molding slag on it, so I trimed it with a razor and it fits fine so things are good. but thanks for the info anyway,.
Now just trying to lay everything in so it all fits right. also disconnected the red wire on the ESC per your instructions, thanks.

I find that it gets challenging to layout the components in the hull so it looks good and the weight is distributed evenly and still leave some room for the gps, with
two in hull water pickups and the ESC in front of the motor where I had to put it because the wires are short I have wires and cooling lines through out, does anyone have any pics of there set in the hull.
                  might give me some ideas
