Stress cracks = ARGHHH!!!

Hey guys,

Since my recent intro into the 40s...I've noticed 2 small spidery stress cracks on the bottom of my newly painted hull ....

As a quick fix can I just throw an extra coat of clear coat on the bottom? I only clear coated the top of the hull.

Sand the sponson bottoms smooth with 320 grit and forget about the stress cracks. They are a fact of life on budget FG hulls...and even on some non-budget hulls.
