newbie looking to cut flex shaft

hello everyone. i just converted my blackjack 26 over to the fullers setup, i am now up to the part where i have to cut the flex shaft... is there a proper way to cut it? what tools are best to use?

Most use a dremel with a metal cutting disc. Make sure to solder up the cut end about a quarter inch or so to keep it from unravelling.

Diagonal snips or side cutters. Works great then I beltsand the little frays flush again. Takes less than 1 second to snip it to length.
