Is there any reason why the air scoops on the hatch are open? If water collects in there, the only way out is through the same opening. Do those little drivers need air or something?

What harm would it do to close'em up?
Will the doods inside die a slow death from suffocation?
Will there be two skeletons with helmets in there in a few days?
Seriously, Will the inside fog up if they're closed up?"A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough."

you will suffocate the little guys.......
not sure why they are there but you should be able to seal them up and as long as it is dry in there they should not fog up either.
Not sure what if anything I will do with mine, bugger issue to me would be would the water rip the cover off during a flip if it could grab those holesComment

Now folks you have it all wrong!
The reason the holes are there is to allow them easy escape when the cockpit fills with tears after they have been repeatedly passed by Supervees!!!!

arent they both wearing eye patches? Not good boat racing with the driver and navigator with no depth perception.BOATS CAN FLY AND SHOULD!Comment

They're on both eyes of each driver. I guess they'd be called blindfolds.
Because they don't need to see to beat any Supervee!

oh no! blind folded women in unpressurized cockpits, I dont know about this boat anymore. That flex shaft will break, they wont be able to see, be distracted by reapplying lipstick and crash in to a rock and burst into flames......in their aerated cockpits.
