    Into the 40s :)

Well I just barely broke into the 40s with my BJ26 on 4S with the stock running gear. Threw in a 1800KV motor and a 90A Seaking all on a CF45 prop.

    Everything was less than 90F

BUT....the HANDLING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't flipped her yet but it hooks SOOO bad when turning.

I've read through every single thread for the past 5 pages including the super long thread about improving the handling on a BJ26...

Winter is fast approaching so I probably don't have any time to get new hardware in up here in Canada, so....

what's the best quick fix that I can do for now until next season?

Congrats! Get the BJ26SS Nitro hardware. It fits awesome and you dont have to change squat, a few wholes to seal up but thats it! and if you cut about 1/4 inch off the stubbing box tube thing how ever you know it. you can use the same flexshaft. its just more unbalanced then a solid flexdrive with welded prop shaft. but still works decent. All for around 65bucks shipped. Talk to steve here at OSE u might be able to squeeze it out a little cheaper.

Well I threw a x642 prop on her...and I flipped her! While going in a straight line!!! LOL

Good thing the lake isn't too big because I had to wait for her to drift ashore.

I really need a rescue boat

Incidentally...she was slower with the x642 rather than the CF45 prop...GPS, my phone which was still working, read just shy of 40mph...weird

LOL thats not good using your phone! I wish i had your luck. every time i go to the lake the wind stops blowing, or it blows everything out farther into the water and then i really have to swim! said screw getting wet every time and got me an inflatable! Now my FE boat has to rescue me some times.
