    BJ26 New Paint Job :)

    Hey guys,

Just finished putting clear coat on the yellow tips. Nothing too crazy...wanted the scheme to be simple...

    Stock 1500KV motor
    Stock Prop
    Stock Running Gear
    90A Seaking ESC

Thanks to all the nice folks here at OSE, I'll run'r with 4s and then when I get used to the speed in the turns...6S

Looks good. Ive been running 5s on plastic props and cant keep a damn one! lol time to upgrade. Turning anything higher then 4s is always going to be a challenge. Even with primo turn hardware. It can be done, but its never easy! Have fun enjoy!

That paint came out nice man. Are those the stock battery trays? If so pull them out and lay velcro along the insides of the sponsons, the boat will handle better.

Well here's a quick video on 4s with stock everything....the motor was sooo cold (78F) after doing close to 10 minutes of high speed passes...I can easily prop up to a 45 or maybe 47 on 4S with the stock 1500KV motor :)

But one thing that I did notice is that water is still coming up the stuffing tube!! I've greased up the cable pretty good as well, and put a small piece of fuel tubing between the stuffing tube and the motor collet

Idk about water coming up the stuffing tube try a small piece of fuel hose on the outside of the hull too on the other end of the flex cable. It must be getting cold where you are now or just a cool lake. Its still swimming weather here, but thats awesome for a 5 mins wot run to be under 80 degrees. i cant wait till it cools off here so i can see how it does running. i hope to get a few extra mins run time with colder water.

No i could not keep it on the water running 5s all the time. I had to upgrade to a rudder and solid prop strut. The BJ26 SS Nitro hardware fits right on if you have a .150 flex (stock flex) without the universal joint. Talk to Steve hes got them in stock you have to cut it to length but its works better then having the u joint. Only reason i liked the u joint is i could control the prop strut pitch more. lol to much and it will do a back flip. I also added another water pick up using the stock prop water pick up setup.
These pictures are kinda old and i have not updated to the second water pickup yet, also still using the u-joint in the pic. Ill update in the morning when i can get my camera out of my truck!
