    Soldering Flex Shafts

Okay i need a .150 flex shaft with a 3/16 prop shaft. Every where ive looked is out of stock! I dont not wanna wait until the end of the month for a flex shaft. How hard is it to take a piece of flex cable and the .150bored 3/16 prop shaft and solder them together?

In our world it's a way to stay sane. If you're asking me. To have it my way, I'd say that's One fine day. ---- The Offspring

I have them in stock. Silver brazed but I can make you a loctite version a bit cheaper and that is about what everyone uses now.

you can't just solder them together. it will fail. You either have to braze them together which means you need proper materials/equipment for doing that, or you just use the loctite method as mentioned.
