Okay i ment to ask you about the 5.5mm bullet connectors. I know for a fact the wire thats on the stock bj motor is not enough to run 6s hard. I do electrical work for living. 50 amps on a stove or a/c unit hell even a water heater runs number 10. (10 gage wire) or a number 8 or 6 on a stove or heat and air units. 30 amp for most air but were talking wire thats twice the size also SOLID COPPER (or aluminum) depends on the application aluminum wire sucks. any how enough having 12 gage wire is just not enough it only holds 20 amp and thats solid wire not stranded. which in 440 where emt conduit is needed we run stranded and it holds some what more volts but with less total drag. Okay back to boating. LOL i cant help work it gets me every time. 5.5mm bullet connectors and a wire update on the BJ26 Motor would be awesome!. BUT i need to update all my connectors correct?

You may have over run or over proped the motor and that with a combo of 6s was just bad. To answer your question though yes you will have to chang your esc and your lipos and connectors to your chargers. Remeber you won't need the jumper anymore you can plug one lipo + directly into the other lipo's - then the remaing wires into the esc. 5.5mm are a nice upgrade I run them on all my boats even on the motor wires and esc wires. Stanard is female 5.5 on the + of the battery male on the - of the battery.

thats just it i never made it to 21volts. i only run 5s i know 6s on stock esc not good. And even then its un-soldering the bullet connectors on the motor. had one incident where it ran over 180 and burnt escs but on the days it was running 100 to 108 esc and motor it was still heating up the wires and the batt wires to over 140, batts never broke 95 degrees all with STOCK PROP 1.6x2.5 Makes no sense! BJ motor still needs wire and bullet connector upgrade tho IMHO

I don't think such a thing as a good cheap motor exists, But HetRc motors are about as close as you will get, not exactly cheap comared to some of the chi stuff above, but definitely good, the ones I have used or seen used have been near clones of the very good mid range Mega motors but for much reduced price and they have brought out a range of larger motors which are near clones of Nue motors, the efficiency is a couple of percent off the originals but when you paying not much more than Fiegao money for them the value is astronomical.

            Trying to hit the atmosphere!

Okay since ive been on here i dont think ive heard of any one going into the 50,000rpm range with a 26 hull. Is it just to fast and unstable? 5s at 33,000rpm is nuts thats what im currently running. I personally am kinda crazy when it comes to motors and speed. This being even better for me, i cant ride on it to get hurt!. I want to do a 75,000 rpm BJ26 is it even possible to keep it on the water or the nose down? Ive heard a few people say thats way to much and ive had a few say if i got a 240amp esc i might can do it? my question is how in the hell is a BIGGER esc gonna help? i was looking at a 3900kv motor and a seaking 90amp esc. I get that my combo on 5s will be about 77,000rpm. i mean come on we put FULL SIZED fighter jet engines on PICKUP TRUCKS! I think a 75,000 rpm BJ26 is possible in the r/c boating world.

At 75000 rpm, somethings for sure going to break! lol I think the only way to get your BJ26 to go as fast as you'd like it to go is to hit it up with twin outdrives. That way you can double up the normal 33,000rpm you're currently running in a safe manner....or hook up a jetpack to it

Oh im going to try it regardless. Ill post how it turns out. Until then i messed up and bought 2 -45amp escs and another bj motor. i guess there spares for my apache now or im going to sell a combo Motor and esc. I think 75,000rpm is going to be alot myself, but i wanna try. I done broke the stuffing box on 5s the maiden run it was nuts. had to completely re-inforce the entire bottom of the hull and stuffing box. My 5 year old can stand on my hull and it wont even flex. The best part its only 6oz heavier then stock!. i think i can make 75,000 work. If thats good then im working on a 100k!

The reason no one is doing it is because it just won't last. Most motors are not rated any where close to that RPM. Feigaos for example are rated at 50,000 rpm. It will eventauly get to a point where the prop is spinning so fast it will become un-efficient. JMO

I see what your saying. Basically the prop will start trying to throw water thats not there like a tire that just wont stick on pavement and its alot more strain on the batts and motor to keep such at high rpm at sustained runs. I still want to try. If anything i wont go so high i might stick to the 45 50k range.

LOL...yeah I hear yah. I can't stand it when I get a package from eBay and its not exactly as described as in the auction.

I wish my local hobby shop sold more of the stuff that OSE provides.
