    what do YOU think?!?!

People have the carbon fiber inside reinforcements for the bottom of the hull right?
Makes it look nicer, helps for structural reasons, BUT
What about a RHINO Liner? Taking it to a shop and have them spray the whole inside of the hull.
It gets hard yet still keeps a soft wont slide texture, waterproof, GAURANTEED,
Pretty sure you can get it in a variety of colors.
Deals with heat and severe abuse very well. (atleast the back of my truck does)
Can have what engine mounts or battery trays secured to the inside of the hull as well (used like a glue).

The only thing im not sure of is the weight factor
Will and can this stuff float?

    WHAT DO YOU THINK!?!

    Octura, AquaCraft, GrimRacer

Okay ive seen alot of reviews on many props.Instead of trying to decide from the makers reviews, Id rather let people who actually get to use and race these brand props. So what do YOU think about Grim racer props to aquacraft to octura? Whats the better bang for the buck?

Rhino Liner etc. are a waste of time and $$$. Heavy, risky for warping the thin hull plastic, and it has very little stiffness. Compared to carbon fiber - well there is no comparison.

Get Graupner carbon props if you do not want to bother learning about the different brands and kinds of FE propellers. They are cheap, don't need balancing and work pretty well.

Props are just one of those "it depends" issues. Submerged, surface drive, high lift, low lift, two blade, three blade, ss, berCu, CF, etc. The list goes on and on. Best to find someone with your boat and ask what they use. Start there. The theory and practice of prop selection and modification is a huge topic and there are a number of threads and articles about it.

1/10th scale hydros with HiMax motors seem to have settled on the Octura 447r as the best to run if modified.

The reason for that is mostly the lack of right-handed props to choose from. A better prop might be found - if it was made to spin the "right" way.

So your saying for a himax application a righthand (clockwise) turning props are better? Wouldnt a counterclock and clock wise spin differ on everything?

Octura and AquaCraft Props! Not to sure if we can consider these things cheap or not, but you can still have a look!
