I finally found a good way to secure my hatch so it doesn't come off during a flip. I drilled a hole between the two magnets that are supposed to secure the hatch and glued in a body mount from a rc car. Match and drill hole in hatch and done.
Nice. Just flipped mine for the first time yesterday. Landed right side yup but sans hatch, had to paddle out to get it. I'm sure it won't be the last time I flip it.
