Hull "Scuffing" ?

Anyone sanded or scuffed the hull with any noticable improvements.

Lots of threads on this. General concensus is that no measureable difference is noted. You do, however, get imaginary racer bragging rights.

Speak for yourself Terry, I've not seen a poll to define the 'concensus'. Believe what you want, but I have the records to prove it.

You'd have the records anyway. Do the tests carefully and show us the timings. Otherwise it's just belief and assumption.

This is the only data I've seen. Not conclusive but suggestive.

OK GENTS,
here is the look and monday will be the test.
top speed was 41.2mph...so lets see what happens before
we all get worked up

well here are the results,
no diff.........speeds were the same........
looks cool so i'm going to keep it....so the answer is
smooth,scuffed,rough.........zero change......

Results from a noob with a rtr boat that he sprayed with truck bedliner, or the word of an FE expert with SAW records. Your choice. I take my advice from the pros.
