    Castle 120 vs 240 esc

I'm looking at buying a new esc soon and I'm trying to figure out whats the
difference between the two, both can handle 6s or can the 240 handle more then that? and can you run both with the built in bec or do you need to run a battery pack?

They both can handle 6s & they both have to have the bec disconected running 6s , yes you have to run a battery pack or you can buy the Castle bec unit off OSE but i think they are out of stock

I would look at a swordfish 120 AMP or a seaking at half the price of castle they both handle 6s or the swordfish 240 amp esc can handle 12s

A 120 amp should do you with a stock set up the BJ esc is only 45 AMP .. Running a 120 amp ESC will give you some room to run some bigger props with out smoking the ESC , The bigger you go in prop size means you draw more AMPs....

can you imagine a BJ on 10s, just put wings on it an turn it into a glider or watch it desinagrate like an astoriod hitting the atomosphere.
