I put it on mine and it made an awesome difference. It handles awesome now. It doesnt try to roll as bad in the turns. I also raised the turning fins too. Ill post some pics later.

The nitro flex went straight on. i found that the prop shaft and drive dog were different even though they had the same part number as on the stock bj brushless so used the prop shaft and drive dog from the hardware i took off. all in all i replaced the rudder, strut and flex shaft from the ss

Is it any faster or handle better is it worth it and do you know why they didn't do this on the brushless in the first place

Have you run this yet? Looks like this is way cheaper than any of the aftermarket setups, the parts (rudder, prop strut, and flex shaft) come out to $48 on the proboat site, plus shipping.....

i love the way my brushless acts with nitro hardware. The only thing i DONT like is the water pickup in the rudder. It dont pick up as much water as the stock drive pushing water into the pickup from the prop. Just the open drag through the water it cools good but its not cooling if its not half to wide open throttle. Turns great alot more stable in turns. Im able to take turns all most wot and it dont bounce or try to sink one side or roll. it just splashes water turns and keeps on digging. i like the ss hardware. Better and cheaper then fullers IMHO but has the same water pick up problem. They need to make small electric water pumps for brushless. so when we slow down it keeps its maximum cooling efficiency the whole run time wether its just sitting on the water or running 70 across it.
