    Brushless motor specs?Size?

    Hello again
    I am having trouble figuring out what these numbers mean for a brushless motor 36-60-15L when they are listed 1600Kv I understand (Barely) but when they have the 3 sets of numbers I am lost. could someone please explain

    36 is the diameter, 60 is the length of can ( not including shaft ) im pretty sure in this case, 15 is the number of winds which dictates the KV of the motor.

      Thanks for the info! How would this motor compare to the stock one? is it twice as long? is stock motor 36 - 30- 15 ? would that mean 36-60-15 more powerful?

        Not sure why they call the factory motor a 36-30 but it's not 30mm long. It is just over 50mm can length. A general rule of thumb is a motor in the same diameter but longer will yeild more power.

          on the proboat website it says the stock motor is 74mm long? are they high?

            Thats most likely total length including the shaft. If you want more power look into a 3660-3665
