hi all, first post on this and caught that the post reads got all the mods, what are all the mods? like the look of the boat but seems that its a paint job not mods im seeing. I just bought one of these online last night, hoping to have it before the weekend next. wondering what all i might look to put into it before its first run?
right now i was planning to order a new prop, probubly a brass one but may consider carbon fiber. i have pairs of 6 cell and 7 cell nimh and a pair of turnigy 5000 3s lipos. wonder if the boat can handle the 3s lipo batteries? other things i wonder about im seeing running hardware big on the list, what would be considered the short list of must haves

            I don't believe it can handle 3sx2 total 6s
remove batt trays. to lower cg
            remove tupperware. to lower cg
run octura 642 prop s&b even tounged.
            shorten and angle turn fins.
these are the starting points that i lerned from this site.

cool so the tupperware goes, looks like then you have no protection from water for the rx and servo. im going to be using a airtronics 2.4ghz rx i pulled from a ofna i just sold. you just bag the rx in a balloon then? im assuming you velcro the batts directly to the hull then also? im thinking the props a good idea, looks like one i used in my last gas boat. can hardly wait for it. I might want to find a esc that would handle 6s lipo though as i dont have anything at the moment that i can use them in. thanks for the info though, and like the looks of that boat you have, what is that like some kind of carbon fiber material attached to the hull? what are people using for paint. automotive stuff with hardener or something else?
