    Lipos @ last

    Well I'm finally getting some lipos 2s1p 40c x qt 4.
getting them from hobbyking, but right now their on back order.
i waited this long whats alittle bit longer.
all the reviews I read were good, so for 119.00 for four plus shipping 140.00
    i don't think i could go wrong.
Now looking at a charger, a Hyperion eos 0606i ac/dc, this looks to be a good charger and also what i've read in this site this is what most of you guys like,
    what do you think?

I own this charger and it works nicely. I did have one break, but I returned it and got a new one in like two weeks. With that charger I also use this http://www.hobbyhot.com/flyermate-mu...1-pr-1679.html

Which lipo's did you get Zippy, Rhino, Turnigy etc..? If you got ones that have the jst-xh/align balance plug then the link above will work great. I think most of the batteries from Hobbycity come with jst-xh plugs so regardless your prob gonna need a balance board because mine did not come with a board for those plugs. it just came with a hyperion balance board.

The Hyperion EOS 7201 net 3 is a better choice, I've been using the model before this for over 2 yrs now without a problem. Very easy charger to use with great functions.

Nice charger also but I do like the option of both ac/dc since the lake is right out my back door, and the price is right.

It works very well and since your going to need a jst-xh balance plug anyways (unless you already ordered one) it will be perfect.

I have those batteries and they work great with my Savage Flux, which is very amp hungry. No heat, no problems.
For the charger, I own a ICE which is great for many applications, and for the field I have this one from hobbyking, incredibly cheap and perfect for carrying in the toolbox, as you can charge a couple of lipos at once in the car...

                  Hi,
I've been looking everywhere for that particular hyperion charger, everybody seems out of stock (including OSE....).

I'm considering a Bantam BC6 (also AC/DC), I found a local store that says they have one coming in this weekend. Here's a a review FYI:

I did it to my IMax B6 AC and it works great! 2 bateries charged for 1 hour
                      at 4,5 amps. Zippy 2 cells 4500 mah 30C.
Just be careful not to swich ballance plugs with main power plugs!
Number them like MP1 and BAL.1 - MP2 and BAL.2 or use zip tie to get them together. Pay attention not to make a short circuit!
