    anybody had this problem ?

    Hi All

    Think Ive posted this here before but is or has anybody had a problem with the stock motor on lipo kinda juddering when throttle opened and not giving power then at other times i open the throttle and i get nothing have to quickly move throttle from min to max until it eventually bursts into life and takes off

    stock motor
    Etti 150amp ESC
    2x 2 or 3 cell lipo in series
    x642

    its doing my nut in trying to figure it out

    I had an issue with RF interference related to the stock ESC, but that wouldn't be the case with your setup. Have you mistakenly gotten the receiver wet? Perhaps try a different receiver, at least that's where I'd start.

    Hope this helps, but merely throwing out an idea. Otherwise, I'd try changing the timing on the Etti.

    Does it still do it unloaded, running on the bench?

      Have waterproofed the Rx with spray its 2.4Ghz so there is no interference and Esc is set for 2/4 pole brushless anyone know the pole count of the stock motor
      i will get to the bottom of this lol

          will change settings on ESC to 6 pole High timing and see if that's any better will report back at the weekend hopefully

            We wish you all the best. I'd recommend putting a slightly smaller prop on if you have one, at least to start and test with. If you do have an issue with the motor, such as a magnet, then you might save your ESC by not using as large a prop. If it works, I'd say, bring her in and slap a larger one on! If you don't have a smaller one, just don't push your luck, bring it back to shore.

            But then again, I'm the conservative type!

              well eventually got to the pond with above settings and have noticed a much improved Blackjack things were running better and even GPS at 3/4 throttle doing 49.5 mph need a bigger pond lol
