    new blackjack 26

I've browsed thru the threads and found lots of helpful stuff. I ran mine with two 5400 2cell lipos and the boat was crazy fast. From my readings here, it appears that my best prop purchase would be the X642? I was curious if anyone has done any hull modifications to make it more stable in the turns. Great boat!!!!!

Shorten and angle turn fins, remove battery trays. get rid of the out drive and install strut and rudder assembly, seal antenna hole, also remove tupperware and lower esc, don't forget to use hatch tape.
Some folks fill the rear step for better handling also. the x642 is the most popular prop, also play with the strut adjustment to gain alittle more speed.
do you have any pics or video? would like to see what you've don so far. lol. and welcome

Thanks... I've been doing r/c stuff for years, mostly cars and trucks. The reason I bought the black jack was because I bought a 4 foot gasser boat (prather), and I can't use it anywhere. I know you were talking about getting some lipo batteries. My neighbor let me use two 5400 2cell lipos and the boat was insanely fast (then he put it sunny side up). When you get the chance, you wont believe the difference it makes. Thanks for the welcome!!!!!! I'll try to post some pics of my stuff soon.

Put a zip tie on water output hose where it connects to hull fitting. it comes off to easy when you remove port side battery

Thanks for the heads up. Nothing like having an onboard water pump (lol). I removed the tuperware box and battery trays. With a little modding, I got two lipo packs to sit in the wood framing where the box used to be. Moved the speed control and receiver to behind the motor. Dont know if having the batteries back there will be good or not, but I like to change things around. Will be posting video and some pics soon.

I did notice no water coming out of water outlet ,I thought it was plugged though..
Also manual says relube flexshaft every 2-3 hours. I pull mine about 1hour of run time and it always needs more lube.. I think pro boat wants to sell us parts..
            Mark.

Can't hurt to relube the flex shaft after your done running for the day, and after running leave the shaft out till next use, this allows time for the stuffing tube to dry out.
