    does anyone have any knowledge or input on these new A123 batterys, do they come in any other voltage then 6.6 volts?

    yes they are 3.3 per cell
    so you can have a 3.3v pack, 6.6v pack, 9.9v pack, 13.2v pack, 16.5v pack.... etc

      The Aircraft guys have been using them for quite some time now. As have some boaties. Unfortunately they suffer from a larger voltage sag under heavy loads than Lipos, so you need to run packs in parallell to mainain voltage. They are already heavier per power output than Lipos so that becomes a liability. But some people swear by them.
      They don't blow up. You can run them until flat. And they have a faster charge capability, from what I've read.
