    BJ26 stuffing tube extension

I have some fullers hardware on a BJ26 and there is a 1 3/4 inch gap between the stock stuffing tube and the cone on the strut. Does anyone make an extension for this or have any thoughts on how to build one?

Use a piece of heat shrink.

Will that contain the flex? Someone here had a pic of his flex in a knot with 5/8th inch between the coupler and stuffing tube!

What size flex? BJ so it's .150 (if I remember)
Do you use a teflon liner?

I'm pretty sure it is .125 and yes I have a teflon liner but it is 1/2 inch short of the strut. I was thinking maybe some brass tubing flared for the strut and heat shrink for the connection to the stock stuffer. Just wondering what others have done.

The teflon Liner is a pain in the but to put in the tube. i have a 2 week old blackjack and just installed the fuller hardware but it comes with now instructions on what angle to put the drift shaft. I would like to find a shop that is familer with boats in the orange county area so that some one can look at the installation before I run it the first time. If someone can help I would appreciate it.
