Buying lipos on eBay is bad news, just don't do it. There are countless threads across the 'net of people puffing and blowing up those cheap packs.

Has any one tried those turnigy lipo? Are they any good cause the price sound to good to be true.Is 40c to much for the blackjack to handle?

I have a pair of 4S/5000mah/30C and have been happy with them along with many others that use them. I plan on getting a pair of the 40C before next season starts.

I've used the 20-30C Turnigy lipos and, aside from some poor soldering, they are very good packs. I've pushed my packs pretty hard and they are still good as new and, in my opinion, under-rated from the factory. Mine are 5000 mAH packs and both charge to 5300-5400 and when pushed very hard they didn't heat up too badly either.

I had smc 2s 28c 6000 lipos and they swelled up on me after five runs and not hard runs so $20 lipos I dont know? maybe it was me cause im new to lipos and i used a venom pro charger at 1 amp to charge them. turnigy sound to good to be true after i piad $90 ea for lipos that failed.

The new 40C 2S packs from HC are tough to beat. They are cheap and built well. Not that there arent any good lipo sellers on Ebay but the majority are selling old technology packs for top dollar. 20C/25C packs for big bux when you can get 40C for around the same or less money spent? Thats a no brainer for me. The Zippy's or Rhino's can be the best bargin while maintaining quality.

I got mine via international airmail from HK. Yet if you go to a US post office they have posters up stating that they cannot be shipped thru the PO. So they can travel 10 thousand miles in an 747's hold heading to the US, yet not ride in a domestic truck. Yeah that makes sense.

...yeah, I was trying to get some from Tower to be shipped to Canada and same problem. Yet they can be shipped to Canada from HC no problem..... Ha....

Yup i got mine from stormer hobby and they told me only some packs are rated to fly.So i couldnt get the ones i wanted.I can get nitro of all octanes but not certain batterys ?????

Easy to print stickers with wrong info on C rating so be careful. Hobby city lipos have proven results and I doubt you will find a better qaulity for the price.

I think if they say 20C I would figure they are really 15C...just what I think about e-bay...some good and some are nothing more than crooks.
