    x642 PROP

Well i went down and picked up a x642 prop at my lhs cost $14.05
also got a topflight magnetic balancer, so i detounged, sharpen and balanced the prop.
Had to get some tubing to adapt the prop to the stock drive, i'll put it all togeather this weekend and see how it works will let you folks know,
i'm sure there will be some improvement, but my hopes aren't to high till i get some lipos.

You don't need ?tubing to adapt the prop to the stock shaft...there is actually an adapter inside the stock prop that comes out and can be used in your new prop!

Ok i'll check that out, it's just all the info i've been seeing in these threads say that i need an adaptor, some say what you said that there is a sleeve in the stock prop/ well i guess i'll find out when i get off work. If there is a sleeve then i'm just out $2.00 and change.
      Thanks for the info.

You should also use a piece of modeling clay or playdo to check that the blades match.

Good to see that you are doing your own props.

Yes it is ... until you cut yourself!

I keep a large box of bandaids in the shop.

                    Animigan:
Well your right, the stock prop has the sleeve in it, however,
the drive dogs don't fully enguage with the slots so i made a sleeve alittle longer to full support the hub.
The drive dogs only enguage half way, i don't see any big concern right now since i will be getting new hardware.
                    I love this site, thanks
