    New paint for the BJ's.

The boys wanted new paint for their boats, so we made a couple of skecthes of what they wanted and started to tear them down.

I had them remove the stripes and wet sand them down. Started with a silver base, then added blue to one and green to the other. A little bit of tape and airbrushing, more tape and airbrushing, then some clear.

Thanks for the comments, the boys are fired up to get them together but I want to put new hardware on the back before we run them again.

The boat in the background in post #3 is the first Mystic Powerboat made. I bought it a few years ago from John Cosker. He built this one (32') when he first started and then moved on to the 50's.

I rerigged the entire boat and put my motors in it, the following year I put new interior and next year i plan on painting it, time permitting.

We have three kids and they love going out with the big boat and their boats!
