    New bj 26 owner

Hello: G-unit here and new to rc boating,
got my new bj and so far i'm very pleased with it.
Been reading these threads for weeks now and got alot of info from all you out there.
So far just did some mods that did'ent cost anything.
Removed batt trays, shortend and angled turn fins, and will be removing tupperware and lowering ecs,
boat runs good but need lipos bad, running 7.2 nimh 3600s.
I live in florida and run the bj in a lake about a 1/4 mile long right out my back door, all season running. Just wanted to introduce myself and will be talking to you guys soon.
    Later. G-unit

Great boat!!! Congrats... You need LiPo's for sure. That is where you start. Next is X642 prop and you will rock ......

totally agree with Lipopower, get the 7.4 20c/30 batts and the x642 prop. You will need an adapter to go from 1/8th inch prop shaft to the 3/16 inch prop but OSE tells you how to do this. Most important is to do something about that gapping antenea hole. I went with 2.4 rx/tx and bondoed it but a quick fix is a rubber rudder shaft boot. Good luck and hang on!

That's a very good idea. Simple and effective.

                    Hi G-unit welcome

glad to see you've started making steps to modding your BJ
think its been said but block up the intakes above the pilots heads because if you flip these will rapidly fill with water. And a must is hatch tape i never run without it

Actually, the stock prop COMES with an adapter...you just have to look inside for it. It will fit inside your new 3/16" prop and allow you to run it on the stock set up until you decided to upgrade the drive hardware.
