    BJ 26 Lipos

What lipos can my stock BJ26 esc handle? Hull is fitted with Fullers hardware thou. I`ve read from 2s 20c`s to 40c`s.Don`t want to brake any speed record but would also like to take advantage of the upgraded hardware also.Thanks,.........Albert/karfrik

I used to have a BJ26 as well. I ran ZippyFlightmax 25C 4000mah 2s 7.4v Lipo. You will need a Proboat programming card to program your esc before you can use lipo batt. Also, that boat runs better with Octura x642prop.

I had a set of 4 Tunergy 5000 mah, they ran well for about 4 months. Total of 10 cycles tops and now I can't get the first cell to charge higher than 2.8 volts and the second is at 4.20 volts, so charger is showing full. I have charge balanced every time and I charge balance store every time before putting away, also tried to balance with a flight power balancer but no luck. I would not recomend the Tunergy even though they are cheap. I have now got 4 paper weights. I just ordered Air Thunders which have over discharge protection in them, I have used them in Helis for a long time but was too cheap to buy them for the boat. Will let you know how it works out.
