    For example

a parelle lead connects two lipos in parallel. This increases the capacity (mAh) of your packs.
    , you can make 2 x 2250mAh 3S1P lipos into one 4500mAh 11.1v 3S2 pack. Or you could take two 1800mAh3S1P and make a single 3600mAh 3S2P pack.

a series lead connects two lipos in series. This increases the voltage or cell count of your packs.

You connect two packs together with the leads and add the cell counts together. The mAh stays the same.

For example, you can make two 3S1P lipos into one 6S1P pack. Or you could take two small 2 cell 800mAh and wire them into a 4S 800mAh

you obviously get more punch and power the bigger the cell count and Mah of the battery and discharge rate

Hey, very good explanation but remember he is talking STOCK on his BJ...

I was just going to say that im running stock. so can i use 11.1v with the stock esc or am i better playing it safe with 7.4v? if i was to use the 7.4v lipos that proboat reccomend would i see much difference in performance over the current 7.2v batteries? Sorry for so many questions but im bit of a newbie to this and all the different battery options are very confusing

If you are going to buy then step up to 30c cells...you can actually see a difference and speeds will be better. For about $6 more a pack at HCity.

I have an older Shultze 6-330 that I love...no balancer so I use a Blinky...works great. It will charge any battery you can hook up to it!

My Shultze will actually put more mah in my cells and do it very gently. Crazy that one cheapo lipo charger will shut off and the Shultze puts another 100-200 mah in a 800 airplance pack! And the cell is not even warm off the charger.
