I may be captain obvious for pointing this out, but if you haven't done anything about the giant gaping hole in the hatch for the antenna then you'll also be getting some water in through that. Get rid of it / patch it / do something.

This thought did cross my mind, i have a blanking plug i can use that is used on gas boilers for the cables comming through the case into the combustion chamber, that should do the trick.

As far as the drag, it turns very easily. The trick is to not use a really long length of tubing. If I remember correctly, it's the regular sized tubing for a .150 cable. Also, after it turns a few seconds, the tight grip is gone from the inside of the tube wearing in. Similar to the oil seals on your cars engine.
I went to our local hardware store to check and there was few types. Could you please let me know which is it exactly? Maybe picture if you do not mind please.
        Thank You

I didn't apply it myself to this one...This was done by Finedesign. But alot of builders use it. Make sure the mounting surface is very prepped and clean. Use a good mount. As once this sets, it's like steel.

that stuff is great. I used it to attach broken motor mounts on a small gas engine. They held up VERY well.

I used it to patch up a broken starter on a samurai built the broken section out of it, drilled it out and it held up until he got back to town about 200 miles

While you have the plugs disconnected from the reciever put some electrical
contact lubricant in the sockets, this protects from moisture and prevents oxidation and corrosion, i use this stuff on all my electrical connections on my harley-davidson, works great
