LOL! Well, not really LOL, but I found out the hard way why guys put one regual screw and one nylon one on their rudders. Was running the boat, and suddenly herd a nice thump as if something struck the hull. From the water bouncing up and down, I just caught a glimpse of a tree branch that was just under the surface. Bring it back in, take a look, nothing was dinged on the rudder, but I have a nice crack across half the transom. Not cool. I'll just pour some resin inside to strengthen it, and clean up the outside a bit.
