    broken u joint?

    so has anyone had a problem with the Flexshaft w/ U-Joint: breaking ? i have had two break this week? running 2s 3700 lipos and a x645 prop and everything else is stock???
    2 SV27s, 1 SV27r, 2 BLACKJACKS 26, 1 GENESIS 40

    that's wierd I run 5s and it doesn't breakwhere is it breaking and is your steering to extream and the u joint binding the. snapping

      that's a lot of prop. that'll be your problem. time to upgrade the drive or prop down to an X642. Even then you'll probably break it in time.

          you'd have to go with all new hardware to get rid of the steerable outdrive. Fullers is a very popular choice.

              fillers is the best option I would read all fourms about the hardware because there are more then on option also the skater system

                  thats looks good but will it work because of the 3/16" Propeller shaft? instead of the 4 mm shaft?? or do you need to modified the shaft assembly ?

                    your x645 is 4mm? I thought they were 3/16.

                      if the prop hole is bigger then the dog drive and shaft use the stock prop insert to make up the diffrence

                        the prop shaft size is 3/16 so i have to use a shim that goes from 3/16 to 4 mm:) so that way it will fit my bj and sv :)
