Try a Super Geico prop next and see how it does ? I got a SR80 with mods and want to try that prop too.

Just picked one of these up for my 9 yr old son. He's been doing well with his hopped up rc buggy and I felt he could handle this. He's been interested in one for a while, seeing me run my revolt 30. It really is a perfect starter boat for him. The stock 35-40 mph speeds are plenty to keep him busy and interested this season, plus the easy 10-15 mph that can be gained later on with battery and prop will keep him hooked. He can grow with it. Not to mention the superb handling and the self righting capability that leaves me and my revolt jealous. Here he is on his maiden tearing up the pond and having a blast!
