Help: removing excess glue/sealant from Impulse 32 hull

Hey guys. I'm in the process of replacing my Impulse 32's hull, and I've hit a snag. The glue that's used to secure the sleeve for the driveshaft is covering the lower two screw holes for the strut bolts (see the picture below). It appears that someone cut away the excess on the original hull, but I've had no luck doing the same with a box cutter (the glue is very hard). Does anyone have any suggestions for removing this stuff? Thanks.

A small wheel or a burr on a dremal tool. Not going to happen with a knife blade.

I find the egg shaped high speed cutter/debur by Dremal good for this.
Also the #9903 tungsten bit. Just kinda slow speed so you don?t melt the glue and gum up the bit.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to see if I can find one at my local hardware store.

I dont know the hull but that looks like the nut side? if so just heat up the screws from the other side and wind the out from the nuts which are held captive by the glue.

Dremmel + a drill to clear the glue from the holes worked great. Thanks guys!
