        You can polish the front face of the prop blades. Some say to leave the trailing faces unpolished so they can push water better. The majority of my props are polished on both sides and I don't pretend to be accomplished enough to ever tell the difference.

                Thank you sir for advise .I enjoy the tuning process .Over on a Helis it takes weeks to get the rpm settings and gyro settings correct .But truly satisfying when u do

                  Thank you i.asked him for a 1816 but he didn't have one in stock.Can I ask u this I saw I can buy one from ose. Now it says 1816 with a bunch of other numbers that I'm not famiar with yet .So if you could (suggest one for 4cell ) id be appreciative

                    The 1816-17-45, first 2 numbers is 1.8" diameter, the 1.6 is the pitch ratio. 17 is the blade rake, 45 is the blade area ratio.

                          There you go Charles from the Wizzard himself...Lol!. NY must have had a snow storm because he's been pretty active on here lately. I'd jump on that 1716 but pick the one you want I'd shy way from the 10* rake though. I'm sure he will have the18 series in stock by the time it's nice enough to run again..Just tell him to reserve you one. Make sure you give him promo code MADRCER for my employee discount...LOL!

                            I understand the dia.and the pitch because of my airplane and ducted fan background so I'm guessing g the rake is the angle of the blade relative to the hub ?
