Zelos 36 rudder cable housing shifts in place

Are the two white rudder cable housings supposed to be anchored firmly where the attach to the servo mount? As my servo begins to move in either direction, the white housings shift in the black plastic servo mount, which results in no movement of the rudder for a brief period of time. I'd imagine I could get faster steering response if the housings were glued to the servo mount. Curious if anyone else has noticed that shifting.

I would say dont glue them. Could be a PIA later taking apart. I have noticed slack. I just pulled them tight with needlenose visegrips while attaching to the servo horn.

I think I'm going to make a cap and glue that to the black plastic servo stand-off. I grew up working on bicycles, and whenever a braided cable leaves a flex housing, the end of the housing is fixed in place. Funny thing, I can probably use a bicycle brake ferrule now that I mention it.

Easy enough, once the slack was taken out from the inner cable, the movement on the outer housings stopped. I guess there's no need to over engineer a solution.
