I dont really have anything bad to say about Hitec servos. I run them in the Zelos my crawler my nitro basher and Jato.

I ordered the SAV-SW-0250MG, Amain said it would work in the Voracity. Still can't find the size bearings for Voracity.

Here the dimension of the voracity motor bearing : OD 16 mm , ID 5 mm , Thickness 5 MM

here the bearing i found at the local bearing shop :

            Dimensions: 29.5x14x32.5mm
            Weight: 25g
            Speed @6.0V: 0.11 sec/60
            Torque @6.0V: 69.4 oz-in (5.0 kg-cm)

That's for the servo, I would really hope it works since I specifically asked for a replacement other than spectrum s605. Hey man and thanks a lot for the info on the Voracity, I take it that means 16x5x5? Correct?

Yop the 16 mm is the outside diameter , the 5 mm for the inside diameter ( the hole who let the shaft passing throw ) and the thickness is 5 mm , like you write 16x5x5 ! i put the picture of the bearing i bought if it can help you !!

Thank's for the info for the servo ! I hope for you it will do the job !! You got the stock rudder ??

If you put something in the tunnel to disrupt this some then it won't have as much lift. Cutting some of that out doesn't seem to slow the boat down but yet makes it faster and more stable at higher speeds. What speed would that be? That depends on the hull. I'll tell you this also, I picked up a solid 2mph on two different (well same hull design but different sizes) boats. Both boats were running exactly 98 mph and never went any faster than 98. Both boats went 99.9 and one broke 100 on the second pass.
What size diameter on your carbon fiber rod did you use?

Really appreciate it, I think it's gonna be 5x16x5 since the Zelos for reference was 5x13x4. Thanks for your help! Yes I still have stock rudder. Will it be a prob?

Thank's !! Yop i hope to break the 60 mph with new fresh packs !! I install the 2 in the back and one in the front . The front one is in the middle , i found with the extra hole in the battery tray a way to fix the battery . I try the boat in waves and choppy water , and she stay in place !!

I will take a pic and let you see how i did that for the 3 batteries !

Banzee, thats a big River, almost looks like a lake or lagoon. I run in similar conditions as well, sometime I get lucky with a bit of mirror finish. Is your boat completely factory spec? I can't recall.

I live on the south shore on Montréal , Canada , the river is the St Lawrence river . Luckily where i drive , the water is not so deep , so i can easily retreive my boat by walking in water to reach it , sometime got more than belly high water ( not sure i can tell it like that ! lol ) . The week evening , the river is very often calm like that , but by the weekend , got a lot of full scale boat that passing create a lot of waves and the wind is often there , got 10-15 mph , sometime a bit more !

My Zelos is all stock , motor ESC , I just sharp and balance the props .
