I have a question regarding heat in the adaptor/electronics when running two 3s packs. If I run 2 5000mah 3s packs 40c rated for a total of 200amps. Are the both motors getting 200amps or does the total amps split between the the 2 motors? Im wondering if a pair of higher capacity 3s packs that provide more total amps would help the electronics to run cooler. Reason I ask is that I was considering a pair of 8400-9000mah 3s packs that I could use in the zelos as well as a traxxas x-maxx.

yes they will help the system run cooler
I would personally get the bigger 3s packs with more available amps for the motors to run
the motors will only pull as many amps that they need to run

but keep in mind you are supplying two motors with a single 6s setup, but the 8400mah+ packs will help you out

cnc 442's.... Not sure how much prop weight plays into overall performance, but huge weight difference between these two. cnc's were a bear to fit though. one I had to spend 15min. trying to open up the shaft hole so it would slide on. The other side I had to file the square edges where it meets the drive dog because it was too small.

Prop weight makes some difference however, aluminum won't last as long as stainless or Berillium.

Great pics and video Keagan, thanks for sharing!
This might just be my first new boat, just realized all my others have been "pre owned".

Just ran mine for the first time yesterday. Motor rpm's don't seem to match, and only got 45mph on 6s. I know my batteries are inadequate. 5000mah turnigy nano tech 35-70c. Just ordered a set of 5800mah 60c zippy compacts. Also need to double check the esc settings. Had some cnc 442's installed, but realized I accidentally ordered a 4219R instead of a 4214R, so I ran the stock unsharpened props.

I was able to get 63.2 on stock unsharpened props so I think something in your setup might be off. The RPM on my motors are always very close it seems like from how they sound. Maybe check the motor alignment with the flexes and your strut height?

yes I did, I would love to put some telemetry on the voracity/zelos but I think the only way to do it is with air receivers......
anyways just waiting the sharpened and balanced octura x447r to do some speed testing.

The X447s ran great on my Zelos. 73.7mph. Post your results and check out other peoples testing in the Zelos 36 Mod Thread: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...modding-thread

Got a slight issue, maybe someone can help. A couple days ago I received my Dynamite 5000maH packs along with the parallel harness as recommended in Rafael's video. I hook up all 4 packs, same specs with the new harness and did a small test to make sure I got it hooked up properly. I noticed the Right prop did not kick in until about 1/4 throttle or little before. The left started spinning immediately but the right took a bit more trigger to kick in. Any ideas? Is this normal? I did not notice this when I was only running 2 packs. I will see if I can get a video later or tomorrow to show you guys.

P.S. No changes to this boat in terms of props, strut adjustment or any of that stuff. All factory spec.
