No but, it looks like they used my rudder offset design that's for sure, at least the shape of the cut out. Maybe I should sue them, lol...

Interesting, bumped the motor up to 2000kv and still recommend 6S? Seems risky. I would have thought they'd move the motor down in this revision. I do like the new rudder and the sound of the hull being strengthened. Look forward to hearing reviews. My revolt has been fun, but I have a itch for a cat and this bj29 sounds sweet.

Where did you read or hear the hull was strengthened? The higher price for the replacement hull led me to speculate the same thing.

I read it on proboat's site in the features section:

"Includes a new fiberglass hull and durable canopy that have been shaped to withstand the rigors of high-speed action"

I can assure you that the hull is DEFINITELY stronger! Glass hatch, better layup, Etc...

Heavier as a result, but solid.

I have one. Ran it a few days ago. Runs nice and stable. It is solid. I blue printed the hull. Was pretty straight compaired to stuff I seen. Every thing stayed cool. I will get a speed next run.
