Cheap substitute for mini rx/esc?

I have a Impulse 9 with a rx/esc that does not work on forward. They want $25 for a new one. is there a cheap sub for this? Thanks; Don

P.S. I swapped the motor leads so now I have fwd but no reverse so it is usable as is.
