    Sure, will do.

What I'm really interested in seeing is if there is a cooling coil or water jacket on the motor. The pics on the Proboat website showed a coil. While a coil works fine, I'd prefer the water jacket.

I also ordered the 1.34 x 2.06 stainless prop Proboat offers. I'll try that after the first run or two. Note, these are the exact same dimensions as the stock plastic prop.

I'm really glad they came out with this. I REALLY wanted the Blackjack 29 but really couldn't afford the $400 price tag for the boat itself and about $100 or so for the 2 batteries that are required to run it.

This isn't the motor that would be used for p limited. It only a 3 cell motor

It's not necessarily a 3S motor, it can run on 4S fine BUT, not with props like a BJ29 or the New larger Dynamite motor because this one is a tad smaller (10mm) and does not handle the same amount of power. The esc is also only 30 amps so lets see, 30amps x 14.8V = 444 Watts. Don't prop up or something will go. try a prop that is smaller than stock but, metal.

Any generational change of an approved motor, or a motor that
is used in a Ready To Run (RTR) offering from a manufacturer
that produces over 100 units of said offering, as long as there is
no more than a 5% increase in any of the following
manufacturers specifications as compared to any single
approved motor: Kv, maximum constant amperage rating,
          mass, and MSRP.

if its actually 2400 kv, then its NFG for the current NAMBA rules for KV.

Just received the boat and it is indeed a 2000kv 4 pole motor.

Overall, the quality of everything looks great.

I noticed that the prop on this thing is big. The stainless 1.34 x 2.06 stainless one I ordered as an extra appears to be smaller and I don't think it will fit onto the shaft. It appears that it might be the same one (only plastic) that is used on the BJ29.

            I'll post some pics later.

Drop in a 1415 in the 3600 KV range and run it in offshore on 2s.

              That's pretty cool.

I hope to get some video on Thursday when I can run this for the first time. Working all day tomorrow.

The prop appears to be approximately 1-5/8 inches in diameter. Basically the same as the BJ29 prop. The pitch I'm not sure of as I don't have any way to accurately measure it.

Ran the boat twice. Ran great on a 5100 mah 7 cell nimh pack. I admit it's rather old school but since I live in an apartment at the moment, I haven't made the switch to lipos yet but would love to in the future.

Since there is an electrical outlet right near the front door, I bet I could charge the pack there. That way if the pack exhibited some weird behavior, I could easily toss it outside before it self destructs.

My fiancee managed to get a video. I'll upload it in a bit.

That's approx. 41mm prop. most likely a 1.4 pitch. Nice, thanks for the update!

Now that I've had several successful runs with this boat, I'm thinking about upgrading to a metal prop.

I'm thinking about trying the Grimracer 40x53 prop. Just wondering what y'all think. I'm still running the stock 30A ESC and motor. The motor I'm not concerned about but I would prefer NOT to fry the ESC if possible.

You can fix that yourself by adjusting the strut so it sits 2-3mm above the ride pads. That's for any cat that does that. They do that because the boat is trying to lift, hydroplane, but the prop is too low in the water.
