Reliable setup for MG24?

I was running my MG24 with single 4s, Turnigy 2300 KV motor and SV 27 original 45 amp ESC. It finally burned my motor or ESC. I don't know which one. Motor was so hot after the run that I couldn't touch it. Any suggestions for reliable setup. Prize to motor + ESC under 100$ please. I am also interested from used motor and ESC.

prob burnt the esc. get a seaking 180a, you'll be fine.
