Stiletto outboard on 29" catamaran hull

Has anyone thought of, or tried taking a mystic/geico/blackjack 29" hull gutting it out, and running single or twin stiletto outboards? With the batteries up front, to counter the weight?

I ran a stiletto outboard on a sv-27. It ran ok, but a little squirrely. Too small of a hull I think.

I was thinking that the cat hull would have more surface area in the water vs a mono hull, and may run a little better.
I was also thinking that the stiletto outboard could mount up to the mystic hull where the 4 strut bolts go, and eliminate the shaft underwater, and the offset rudder. but that's alot of if's...

I have a Aeromarine 29" Sprint Cat with Hyperformance drive and T600 outrunner. Runs fine straight but needs fins for turns. I opted for the Sprint Cat over the Mean Machine as the deck is cut out further up front making it easier to get to the batteries. Expect to make a lot of modifications at the transom for strength and getting the outdrive high enough so the prop is at the right height. Great setup for an outrunner.

No a mono has more surface area in the water vs a cat hull,
That is why the cat hull rides on top of the water and likes lifter props.

But there's more planing surface in the water with a cat hull, vs a mono hull. The ride pad area on a mono is much smaller than that of a catamaran.

So a cat has more surface on top of the water than a mono?

So we're on the same page, I'm operating a Spartan, and a Mystic. The Mystic seems to have more hull area on top of the water than the Spartan.
