what flex shaft grease to use

Can I use lucas Oil Marine grease to lubricate my flex shaft? I already have it and don't really want to pay 18 dollars at my lhs for a small grease tube.

i'd prefer the Lucas over the Proboat grease anyday.ive always had good results with Lucas products.
