Hello all,
I am new to r/c boating and was given what seems to be a older model Shockwave 26. It is ABS plastic hull I believe with a brushed motor and an older style receiver. I already have a new receiver to go with my DX3s for it but I would like to upgrade the motor to brushless and get a newer ESC to run it all. I've run it a couple times in a park nearby and have broken 3 of the plastic props so far. It now has a SS one installed.I'm using 2S lipo's to power it and yes, I have a lipo buzzer on it to warn me of overdischarge.Not that I've had to worry about that yet since the props have all broken in 5 min or less.What I would like help on is suggestions for a motor/ESC combo that will be reliable and not break the bank.Any other suggestions on this boat would be much appreciated.
