after doing some research i decide on the proboat mystic or miss gieco what are the differences between these boats? and whats everyones take on running it in a lake and a neighborhood pond...

Definitely the proboat mystic. Its the exact same hull with a new 1800kv motor, 60a esc, and offset rudder for only a few bucks more. You'll be fine running in a neighborhood pond just be careful. Sometimes they're better b/c they're out of the wind and open gusts, just depends on your place. Also if its your first boat you'll want to get the RTR version, it comes with a 2.4GHz radio, all you need is the lipos.
If you ever get any after market parts, which you will eventually
, you may need a bigger area. Again, just depends on your place. Hope this helps.
